Montair Chewable tablets are useful to avoid asthma attacks in children. The tablets can also be used to relieve breathing problems caused due to vigorous physical activities. This tablet is useful in treating symptoms caused due to seasonal or skin allergies. It helps treat symptoms like itching, runny nose, congestion, sneezing, watery eyes, and swelling.
Set a time and follow that time to give this tablet to your child. You can give this chewable tablet to your child before/after meals as mentioned in the prescription.
Your child may need the tablet for a couple of weeks before it works to avoid asthma attacks. If you are using this tablet for asthma for your child, then let your child take this tablet 2 hours before he/she goes out to play or engages in any physical activity.
If you are using this tablet to treat allergies in a child, try to give the tablets in the evening based on the start of the symptoms. If your child is suffering from both, then give the tablets in the evening.
In case your kid vomits after 30 minutes of intake of this tablet, give the similar dose again. But, skip the dose if it is the time for the next tablet (dose).
