Preventive medications: You need to take the drug regularly to get the best result. The drug is developed to reduce the severity of migraines. 

Triptans: Triptans are prescription drugs for Migraine. It prevents health conditions by blocking pain pathways in the brain. The medication is found in different forms, such as pills, nasal sprays, etc. 

Dihydroergotamine: This medicine is available in the market as a nasal spray or injection. It is recommended that this migraine drug can be taken shortly after starting the symptoms. As a result, you will get the best results from it, and its effect lasts more than 24 hours in your system.

Lasmiditan (Reyvow). It is a comparatively new migraine medicine. The drug was recently approved for treating Migraine with or without aura. According to some research, lasmiditan works excellently in relieving headaches. It can stay in your system for up to 8 hours.
