Cobix 200 mg capsule is used to give relief to patients with osteoarthritis, spondylitis, gout, ankylosing spondylitis, to reduce pain, inflammation, tenderness, stiffness, swelling in the affected joints, rheumatoid arthritis, muscle pain, pain during menstruation and also post operative pain.

Cobix 200mg capsule is a non-steroidal anti- inflammatory painkiller that belongs to a category of drugs called as COX-2 inhibitors.It inhibits the formation of chemicals called prostaglandins, which is responsible for causing pain and inflammation, thereby reducing the pain, swelling and inflammation symptoms.

Cobix is also used for the management of acute pain and treatment of dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain), following surgery as well as dental pain and also when sufficient pain relief from other medications has not been achieved.

Cobix capsules do not cure arthritic disease but can relieve symptoms of pain and inflammation and improve the functional use of affected joints. It is also used for the relief of short-term pain, in cases such as menstrual cramps (period pain), following surgery as well as dental pain.

Possible side effects of Cobix 200mg are Stomach upset, Flatulence Headaches, Unexplained weight gain, dizziness or lightheadedness, Flu like symptoms Oedema, Insomnia, Palpitation.

Cobix 200mg can be taken with or without the food.Pregnant or breast -feeding mothers should consult the doctor before taking this medicine
