Duphaston 10 mg contains Dydrogesterone, a component of the pregnadien derivative group of medicines. Synthetic hormones like dydrogesterone are made by humans. Essentially, it is the same as the hormone produced by the human body, progesterone. MANAGEMENT OF SIDE EFFECTS

Headache: On your head, apply a hot-water or cold-water bag. Relax in a dark and quiet room. You can drink tea or coffee.

Nausea and vomiting: Take this medicine after eating, or with a meal, or at the end of eating. Eat simple foods and avoid rich or spicy foods.

Abdominal pain: Rest and relax as much as you can. Slowly consume food and liquids. Keep your meals small and frequent. If you have stomach troubles, you may also want to apply a hot water bottle or a heating pad to your stomach. Still, if the pain persists, consult your doctor.

Diarrhea: To avoid dehydration, drink plenty of fluids. Unless your doctor has recommended it, don't take any other medication for diarrhea.
